Ba9mah The Yemeni Revolution did not just strike down an old and corrupt political system, it shock off a nation perception of what is possible. Young people present in freedom squares both in Yemen and abroad are very optimistic about the future of the country. These emotions need to translate into choices that influence the political landscape of Yemen. The Ba9mah -Fingerprint- project will assist the translation effort through facilitating a strong and effective youth participation in the election process.
Qu6ra The water crisis is arguably Yemen’s most pressing challenge, with the capital Sana’a under the threat of being the world’s first capital to run out of water. Despite the urgent nature of the water crisis in Yemen, there is little awareness especially among the youth of the catastrophic dimensions of this crisis, the Government’s approach to addressing it, and what action could Yemen’s youth take to address the crisis.
Our Priorities - Our Future The 10-points plan was an ambitious reform plan developed by a team of reformers within the Yemeni government. It promised to restore the government's credibility and to prevent any further deterioration of Yemen's economy. Because of the potential impact of the plan, Resonate! Yemen launched the Our Priorities - Our Future project to inform the youth about the plan, encourage them to debate its benefits, share their reservations over it with its designers and finally enrich it with their own ideas of how can it be executed on the ground.
Youth Against Terrorism In January of 2010, Yemeni youth across the globe joined the Resonate! Yemen initiative to express their opinions on the terrorism challenges facing Yemen and their expectations from the international community. The aim of the initiative was to deliver the Yemeni youth voices to the attendees of the January 28 conference regarding Yemen which was held by the British government in London.
Resonate! Yemen

Welcome to the home of Resonate! Yemen where we work on advancing the cause of participative democracy in Yemen through bringing the voices and ideas of young Yemenis (aged 18 to 35) to Yemen's public policy discourse and through supporting youth action on issues of local and national significance.

To guide the implementation of Resonate! Yemen’s objectives we have developed a three-step framework:

learn_engage_contribute_v3_1

Under the Learn module, Resonate! Yemen will provide access to detailed information, documentation, and resources related to the topic of the projects implemented. This will enable the participants to increase their knowledge and raise their awareness about the topic and prepare them for the next two modules.

Under the Engage module, Resonate! will enable and facilitate direct interactions between the youth and key decision makers in the Government, private sector, or any other sector relevant to the projects implemented. The initiative will also make use of creative techniques to engage the youth with the issue being addressed, such as social media, video documentary competitions, and other techniques.

Under the Contribute module, Resonate! will encourage the youth participants to contribute towards the issue being addressed, either by providing ideas on how the different stakeholders should address the issue, or by taking action by themselves towards addressing the issue.
