Launching "Make your voice Heard" project

Inauguration of the "Resonate!" Yemen »with the“House of Light ”Foundation cooperation with the German“ Friedrich Ebert Foundation ”and the Canadian Fund for Supporting Local Initiatives“ Connect your Voice ”project in Sana'a, yesterday, Friday.

50 young men and women from five Yemeni governorates participate in the project, and it will last for five days until the first of November.

According to the project’s goals, young men and women will receive training on playing an active and positive role in shaping the political scene in Yemen by «enhancing the understanding of Yemeni youth leaders of the field of participatory democracy», and participants will be provided “with the knowledge and skills they need to launch advocacy campaigns and gain support and popular campaigns” On this side.

The director of programs of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the German office of Yemen - the resident representative, Mahmoud Qayah, said that the project "make your voice heard" will work to build the capacities of young people as current and future leaders who contribute and even play the biggest role in building and serving the homeland of all Yemen, noting that other workshops will follow this The project to include all governorates of Yemen. Participants - from Sana'a, Aden, Taiz, Hadhramaut and Al-Hodeidah - will have to work with party leaders in Yemen to build a road map for integrating youth into the political process in Yemen, according to Rennin, in addition to setting up a center to train young people based on politics, continuous monitoring and reporting on Tamkeen. Youth by political parties and the government, and following up on youth reactions to the initiatives launched by these parties. Ahmed Al-Yamani, the Canadian Fund Coordinator in Yemen, explained that the "Connect Your Voice" project comes within the existing cooperation between the Fund and the Yemen Rinn Foundation regarding the "political involvement of Yemeni youth in decision-making positions."

Resonat!Yemen  Foundation works to communicate the ideas and opinions of youth to the field of formulating public policies in Yemen and support youth projects that affect nationally and internationally. It also works to provide training opportunities to develop the skills of Yemeni youth in the areas of civil leadership and public policy analysis, to create a political climate that means developing more sustainable policies, and to accept youth as one of the primary partners in the process of formulating and implementing public policies.
