Resonate! Yemen Foundation concluded today the third national meeting in the city of Mukalla in the province of Hadramout. This meeting comes within the activities of the "Leaders for Development" project implemented by the Foundation in the governorates (Sana'a - Aden - Hadramout - Marib), which lasted for a year and a half.
The project aims to involve the community in promoting community consensus. A youth network was formed in each of the targeted governorates, where 20 young men and women from each governorate were selected. Community problems.
15 advocacy campaigns were also carried out in the targeted governorates, including advocacy for private-sector workers, protection and advocacy to prevent fire in public places and events in Sayun and the campaign of rents and apartments.
The period of implementation of the project included the establishment of national meetings, the first in Hadramout early this year, the second in Aden mid of this year, and the third conference in Hadramout last October. These meetings resulted in several youth projects, most notably the “Show Me on the Market” project, which aimed to connect young people to the labour market, enabling them to meet the demands of the labour market.
At the end of the event, the representatives of all the networks involved in the project were honoured.
