Over the course of a year, 15 Yemeni youth participated in round tables held in Sana’a, Brussels and Berlin, in which a group of local and international decision-makers participated to support ensuring the success of a comprehensive political settlement in Yemen. This was part of the project’s activities, which aimed to enable youth to participate. Effective actors in decision-making and support for the transitional phase, through holding several training workshops that provided Yemeni youth with the necessary skills in the field of advocacy, networking and dialogue techniques. The total number of beneficiaries reached 60 young men and women from four governorates, and the project was supported by the Saferworld organization. The project started in February and continued until December 2012.
1- Implementation of a workshop on advocacy and lobbying for 60 young activists from across Yemen.
2- Development of an advocacy lobbying campaign whose subjects are chosen by youth.
3- 15 participants invited to attend a roundtable discussion with national and international policy makers in Sanaa, after they traveled to Berlin and Brussels to meet with international policy makers there.
