To strengthen EU partnerships with Yemeni CSOs, and existing Yemeni CSO networks and hubs, to increase their role as independent and collective actors of good governance and development, thereby contributing to longer term social development, economic stability and peace and security in Yemen.
Major Outcomes:
- CSOs and CSO networks are provided with core, flexible and accessible funding to design and implement their own peace, security and development initiatives, including priority women, peace and security (WPS) and development issues, which meet the priorities of their constituencies, particularly of women, youth and other marginalised groups.
- CSOs and CSO networks are supported to strengthen their organisational and collective capacity on self-identified priorities, in a strategic, demand-led way, including on protection strategies, and through CSO/network/hub-led peer learning and accompaniment models based on solidarity, meaningful engagement and equal partnerships principles.
