The "Governance of Civil Society Organizations Working on Human Rights Including Women’s Rights" (GoCSOs) is a two-year project implemented by Resonate! Yemen Foundation and funded by the State of the Netherlands. The project is being carried out in the governorates of Marib and Shabwa, Yemen. Its main goal is to improve the (CSOs) that focus on human rights and women's rights. To achieve this, the project aims to enhance the organizational, technical, and financial capacities of these CSOs. It also seeks to increase their contribution to gender-transformative governance and social accountability. The project's approach is designed to promote civic space, build partnerships among CSOs, and ensure a conflict-sensitive and participatory methodology, with a focus on local context and stakeholder coordination.

Main Objectives:
Improve governance of CSOs Working on Human Rights and including Women’s Rights in Shabwa and Marib governorates

Outcomes/Ex pected Outcomes:
1. Enhance organizational capacity, technical expertise, and financial sustainability in a strategic manner for human rights CSOs
2. Increase the contribution of human rights organizations including women’s rights CSOs to gender transformative governance, and social accountability.
